The Yacht

Our yacht is called Mahjong and she is based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. She is 38ft in length (11.5metres) with an immaculate teak interior comprising saloon, galley, forward cabin, heads with marine toilet, wash basin and shower, chart table with full instrumentation and ship to shore telephone. The decks are all teak laid with plenty of space for relaxing or sailing the boat, whichever takes your fancy.

Lifejackets and safety harnesses are carried for all crew and guests.

The Crew

The helmsman has sailed extensively both in the waters of the Solent and blue water cruising. His journeys have included Ocean Racing, extensive cruising, trans-atlantic crossings and a voyage from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom.
His wife is a competent lady crew and the yacht manager.

Travel to Cowes

The easiest route is via Southampton where guests embark on the Red Jet Fast Cat to Cowes. Guests usually arrive at Cowes between 10:00 and 10:30 where they are met by us.
